Some people want to homeschool for free so that they can avoid having to get a second job just to pay for curriculum. The truth is that there are plenty of ways to save money on homeschooling if you know where to look and how to make your money work for you.
I've said it before that I believe that families should never let a lack of money stand in their way of homeschooling. If a family doesn't have money to spend on books and resources and they believe that God has called them to homeschool, they should move ahead with it. If God calls someone to homeschool, He is going to make sure that they have the resources they need.
There are plenty of homeschoolers who are willing to pass their curriculum or books on to a new homeschool family when they are done with them. There are also ways to purchase used books and curriculum for a fraction of the retail cost. For a complete list of all the resources and tools I use, check out my post at Homeschool for Free.
